ANGELINA JOLIE has been admitted to hospital in the south of France in preparation for the birth of her twins.

The Hollywood star is said to be doing well and a spokeswoman for the Lenval Hospital in Nice said it had been planned for some time that the actress would be admitted in advance to the maternity wing.She would not say when Jolie was admitted but added Angelina will be likely to remain in hospital until the birth. She said the arrival of her babies was not imminent.
