We're very sad to report that Katie Price and Peter Andre are set to split after four years of marriage.

The celebrity couple – whose exploits in America are currently being shown in ITV2's Katie & Peter: Stateside – have decided to call it quits, despite appearing to be madly in love.

The couple's management have confirmed the split in a statement saying they 'have both requested that the media respect their families' privacy at this difficult time'.

The pressure may have been showing on Friday night as Katie enjoyed a seemingly boozy night out without Peter, but the pair did reunite for dinner at Nobu on Saturday.

They also made a public appearance together at last night's British Soap Awards, where they both presented a gong.

The couple first met when they starred on 2004's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, and have two children, Junior, three, and 16-month-old Princess Tiáamii, together.
