| I would loke to draw one of the monkey and If the author of these magnificent pictures agrees I would like to credit him.
Where can I get any info of the author and the title for this picture where a monkeys' face looks terribly human...
Thanks in advance

| yeah it is total plagiarism, but beautiful pictures, some really capture how similar animal expressions are to human emotions- amazing, if your interested you should watch the documentary Koko, on netflix instant play- it is an amazing story of a guerrilla that learns sign language and expresses emotion

| These are simply amazing. It really shows you how beautiful life is in all ways, and how delusional the idea of human superiority to animals is. I think a lot of these pictures show that animals can be just as emotive and expressive as we can!

| "Stop trying to be so intelligent" must be a Christian. And yes some are clearly altered, which does matter. It is the difference between real life and fantasy. Would you rather know if a story was true or just made up?

| I think most of these pics are terrific! It would not surprise me that none of them are photoshopped. When you been around for sixty years and have been observing things for most of your life--I find all of them probable. Heavens, when I was a freshman in highschool, I had a nun who normanlly had blue eyes--but one day I looked at her and she had one blue eye and one green eye! I asked her "what gives"? and she said--"well, usually they are blue--but every once in a while, this one turns gree. Observe life and don't be too quick to judge. And global warming--I'm not too sure it is really going on (for pete's sake some people are getting 6-12 inches of snow this weekend! and it's the end of April!)--and if it is -- is the USA responsible? I think not necessiarly so--let's see-- we have all those farting pigs in Thailand--the satelites pick up that CO2--and oh yes, they keep burning the Amazon. Can we help--yes--and we should all be as GREEN as possible--but live a few years--it would not surprise me if it 30 years we go though a cooling cycle. The polar bear is perfectly capable of swimming--and let's see--just how many people have been in the Artic--and how many had cameras? The earth and life move in phases--thank God --we can now photograph some of them!

| Oh jesus christ people. Can't people have civil conversations about an incredible collection of photos? Who cares if some of them are photoshopped? And what makes you so sure that it's absolutely impossible to catch an outstanding photo without the aid of photoshop? Lots of animals have different colored eyes, and it's entirely feasible to catch a cat with a fish reflected in it's eye. Granted, it's improbable, but still possible. Stop trying to be so intelligent and self-righteous for a minute and simply appreciate the art and talent that went into each of these photos. Nature is exciting, funny, and often cruel, but something can be cruel and beautiful at the same time. I'd really just like to see one single video post, photo dump, or blog where the poster or author isn't completely trashed on by people who have nothing better to do than belittle others. Rant: over.

| The very first picture, showing a dog attacking antelope? The owner should be shot and the dog pissed on to allow that to happen. It is NOT a matter of getting foord, dogs chase deer/antelope often to the death for sport. It is cruel and senseless to allow it to happen!

| the one of the polar bear isn't that great..
it's actually a sad reminder that global warming DOES exist..
and it IS causing the ice caps to melt, leaving the polar bears to end up either drowning, or doing something as seen in the picture..
on a tiny little ice cap.
how sad.

| I do agree with you on the global warming thing. However, claiming that they die due to drowning proves you don't know much about polar bears. Polar bears spend a lot of their life in the water and can swim long distances at ease. For several hours in fact. I believe there is an account where a polar bear swam 100 km (62 mi) straight! So although it is sad to see their homes melting it doesn't mean they are going to die outright.

| While it is true that polar bears are excellent swimmers, they are not equipped for the kind of swimming that many of them are being forced to attempt. There are accounts of polar bears being forced (by lack of sea ice) to swim for much longer than they are accustomed to without food. At that point, even the best swimmers will succumb.
Polar bears can and do drown because of global warming.

| God do you seriously think that we alone are accountable for global warming? That it wasn't going to happen anyway? This planet has been through countless ice ages, it's in one now, and it will go through more in the future, get over it!

| Strictly speaking we are not in one right now (though we did have a small one a couple of centuries ago), we are on our way into one. If the ice caps melt and the Golf Stream stops, we'll have it pretty cold up here in Europe.
